Amazing remake of three amazing games

Let me start out by saying I love the original Crash trilogy, it still holds place in my heart and I think the three games hold up pretty well ( okay, the first one is kind of dated, honestly ). So I was looking forward to this game, mostly because I can't play the original games anymore.

Firstly, this game looks incredible. It has updated graphics and animations but it still keeps the old-fashioned cartoony style of the Crash games. The cutscenes, new character models and animations give the characters we know and love a lot more personality despite not changing that much. And the cutscenes look like they could be in a modern animated movie. And I can't describe how beautiful the castle levels and water levels are. Also, the start up screen with low-poly Crash is just adorable.

I also love that you can switch between Crash and Coco in this game and if you didn't like playing as Coco in Wrath of Cortex, this game makes her play exactly like Crash rather than weaker version of him. She also has new idle animations that make her sillier and cuter, which I really appreciate. I actually played as Coco as much as I could when I played the game.

Games are same as in the original, maybe with slightly different controls and it may take a while to get used to them, but they are still the same old games I love, I can't complain. Also, I am really happy that they made accessing bonus rounds and saving in first game easier and that it doesn't send you back 5 levels if you get a Game Over.

If I had to complain about something, it's the Loading times ( they aren't terrible, but... eh, they are longer than I wanted them to be, I guess ) and some remixes of the old soundtracks aren't the best, as 'Generator Room', which had fitting creepy music in the original now sounds too happy and it doesn't fit very well. And there are things you have to get used to, as controls are slightly different. But other than that, this is a great remake of three solid, classic games and I reccomend it to both old fans of Crash and people who want to try it out.
