There is no tension. None. And to make sure nothing resembling drama or conflict arises, every interesting aspect of the characters is erased. The author was so obsessed with giving you a sugar high they never bothered to ask why the characters would go on to behave as they did in canon. Do you know how in real life evil people just tend to be evil without worrying about freudian excuses? That's this except everyone's been indoctrinated by Care Bears instead.
