Skip this story. Really.

I don't mind a good, well-written angsty story, but this one just isn't. It's a "plot-on-rails" story intended to generate as much angst as possible over the failure of WildeHopps to form even down to the cliched "she lost him forever" ending at the train station. Nick rejects every reasonable alternative to resolving the situation, never once does either party try to call, text, or email each other to talk about it, and Judy only learns of Nick's final departure from a text sent 4 minutes before his train leaves by Wolford who then curtly notes that she didn't arrive in time. <Groan> It's a forced story with a forced sad ending that's angst for the sake of angst and really isn't very satisfying.
