This is easily the most despicable and least sympathetic portrayal of Gohan I've ever seen. Yes that includes The Long Road. As soon as his back story was revealed, I found myself wholeheartedly and unreservedly rooting for the murderous serial rapist of a villain. I am not exaggerating when I say that the level of unrepentantly pointless cruelty and indifference to the suffering of others that Bulma and Gohan exhibit in this fic honestly reminded me of stuff I've read about Dr. Mengele in various holocaust memoires. I think the most disturbing part is that the villain, who as I mentioned above is portrayed as almost cartoonishly evil, is the only person in the story who seems to think that what they did was wrong.
