Honestly? I shouldn't enjoy watching this series as much as I do. Jesse is a whiny clingy annoying manchild, Psycho Dad is an overbearing psychotic control freak, Terri and Melissa are stubborn stuck-up old women trying desperately to rekindle their youth, shutting away everyone else in the process... And these are the most prominent characters. The characters you see the most [Aside from Corn] are entirely unsympathetic and unlikeable, and I want to see something completely and utterly horrible happen to each and every one of them. It's a very dark, depressing series...But I just can't stop watching. It's like a train wreck. I just can't look away.
