There is absolutely no way that this isn't brilliant, brilliant trolling.

No way. It's impossible. And I'm not saying that just because "no one can write that badly". Because, yes, people are fully capable of writing that badly.
But there's no way someone this characteristically "goff" could reference The Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, and Greek Philosophy.
It's a ruthless parody of self-insertion Mary Sue fics, and it's absolutely fantastic.
The entire internet population knows about this fanfic. It's clear that she succeeded.
In a world where trolls do battle in every corner of the internet, engaging in petty flame wars and doxxing scandals, one troll sits above them all. Tara has won. She is the victor. She has ascended to the position of Troll God. She won.
So I commend thee, Ebony Dark'ness Dementia (The character's name is Dementia) TARA Way.

There's also the clever in-joke of Hermione caring more about being expelled than dying, but what settled it for me is the spelling, especially in the second half: it isn't natural to have precisely one mistake in each word of more than three letters, and the Cupertino Effect comes up with far too good precision. What makes this troll fic such a success is that it manages to parody all kinds of fanfic tropes while still being nothing like the typical fanfic.

Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.
