Personally I'm a fan of fics involving Dean and Michael, and I've seen Michael written both as an ass and as an actual great guy (or at least okay guy). If it's well written, I'll accept anything. In this fic Michael is sorta neutral, he's not being a douche but he still persists in taking Dean as his vessel. And that works great here. In the show we never really saw Dean thinking about saying yes, he just ran off one day. This fic fills that gap and shows us exactly why Dean decided to give in and how Michael convinced him. It's a great read and I'm perfectly content with accepting this as canon.
