An insult to both science and sci-fi

I'm quite shocked by how people can make movies such as this and totally fail to achieve something even remotely reasonable. This movie takes one of the most interesting subjects of near-future sci-fi (brain uploading) and completely and utterly ruins it with a story badly written and even more badly played; it's so full of idiocy that it would need a weakly godlike AI just to analyze it. And I'm not only talking about scientific idiocy, I'm talking about completely stupid actions made by all of its characters, up to and including the main one, which SHOULD be thousands of times more intelligent than a standard human being. The only possible reason for the existence of this movie is, it has been created by an AI to convince mankind that AIs are stupid and pathetic even when they acquire godlike powers.

It takes the admittedly fascinating idea of Brain Uploading and destroys it with Hollywood Hacking. And I'm sitting here thinking... how great it would be if all my programs worked the first time they're run.

Oh look I mispeled somethink.
