This fic was written mid-way through Season 1, before Adalind cursed Juliette, when it was still just Nick and Monroe in on the whole Grimm/Wesen thing, and before the Verrat storyline became important. It's a great character story for Nick/Monroe shippers, though not so much for Juliette fans. I also like how it looks at the very real complications of living in a world where magic can mess with your life and you can't tell anyone about it.
