Watch it for the fight scenes and nothing else
The story and the characters are awful (especially Cloud not only losing all his character development and the game absolutely shitting on the themes of FF 7 just because someone at Square desperately loves emo man children) but at least the fights and music are great.
And that's pretty much all that can be said. The writing quality is less than you would expect from a fanfic but watcha going to do?
