Interesting take on the 'next job' storyline - written eloquently and with excellent characterization (strong Ariadne, expanded background for Robert).
Focuses equally on plot and romance (don't let the rarepair throw you off!).
The author creates a detailed, satisfying plot, especially concerning the extraction plan - the entire story seems well thought-out, with equal blends realistic and fantastical imagery.
Long oneshot (~32,000 words), but the dramatic storyline and buildup makes it completely worth the read.
Straight talk here this is one of the best Inception fics I have read, and one of my favorite fics overall. I compare most fics to this one in terms of quality. Don't get discouraged by the length and the classical allusions - the author is very good at building a detailed scene, but without purple prose or going over your head.
