Ho Yay: In "The Dragon and the Angel", Hanson is shot in the line of duty and Penhall tells Hanson, "If I could kiss it and make it better, I would." It's an egregious example when one considers where Hanson was shot.
Because Ho Yay is about fandoms consistently shipping two same-sex, but In-Universe heterosexual, characters together.
The entry as it was written, however, is nothing more than "some remark made by an In-Universe heterosexual character can be re-interpreted as homo-erotic". It doesn't mention anything about the fandom's attitude about Hanson & Penhall's relationship and whether fans ship them together in a romantic/sexual way.
So unless someone more familiar with the show's fandow can show the fandom shipped these two characters together, I'm deleting for now.
