- Complete Monster: WCKD Assistant Director Janson. While already established as a serious threat during "The Scorch Trials", "The Death Cure" expands on his psychopathic traits, as he relentlessly pursues Thomas and later Teresa with pure sadistic glee; when the latter continually evades his efforts, the man clearly grows more and more unstable. He crosses the line, however, when he kills Ava Paige during the film's climax, and later reveals his true motives regarding the newly-synthesized cure from Thomas.
