There are lots of people who think it's horrible, including me, but I am baffled at the surprisingly large number who seem to genuinely like it on Crunchyroll, youtube, and other platforms where user reviews tend toward Eight Point Eight. Even on r/berserk where all the mods (of which I am one) think it's garbage, there seem to be roughly 33% of people who dismiss all criticism and think it's great, 33% who think it started off disappointing but that it's been Growing the Beard lately, and 33% who want to kill it with fire.
I tried to put it on the page So Bad Its Horrible, but was denied. It turns out that page is only for works that are universally reviled and of even worse quality than *Berserk (2016)*, which has been successful enough with enough viewers to stay on the air despite withering criticism from more discerning fans and critics.
Just goes to show that the public cannot be relied on for its good taste, and that sometimes even the critics are not as harsh with something as they should be.

Is this show really as divisive as the page makes it sound? I've seen very few people positive on it, and they tend to be lukewarmly so; it seems to be pretty unanimously thought of as So Bad, It's Horrible.
