This really needs a Getting Crap Past the Radar tab. The barn party alone gives plenty of stuff that somehow slipped into the movie, not the least of which includes "Baby Cheese".

LOL, the fact that Otis has udders is addressed in a Nick Magazine article that compares and contrasts the cast to their real life counterparts.

There are definitely some Far Side influences here, aside from the anthropomorphic animals. You have a fat, redheaded kid who looks like the farside kid but without glasses, and the old lady with wingtip glasses.
