Well, why don't grant him a different interpretation of the story? Not everyone is going to take away the same message you do when they see or read a story.

Albert's interpretation/opinion of the subject matter is just as valid as anyone else's. While this means it's also just as irrelevant, he's simply not obliged to read the same things into a movie that you are.
