Bat1701: Hey, I removed the following WMG:
- The reason the Weasleys are "gingers" is to counter negative stereotypes. This, just... Gah.
- This ginger resents that theory.
Speaking as yet another ginger, I resent this theory as well. There's fun and then there's mean-spiritedness. Since emotion is so hard to read through just printed words without some very solid pointers, the original poster could have meant it all in good fun or been more serious than I am comfortable with. If the original poster (or someone else) wants to tweek it so it doesn't come across as ginger bashing, they are welcome to do so.
Hide / Show RepliesIt's a south park reference, probably not a personal statement by the original poster.
Fai-Mommy: Are we allowed to put page quotes on WMG pages? Because I think this quote from HBP might work:
Taken out of it's original context, I thought it was funnily appropriate (Except the part about memory might be kind of confusing).
Edited by Fai-Mommy Hide / Show RepliesOkay, I looked around for any rules against it and couldn't find any like that, so I added the page quote. Still don't know if it's totally okay because no other WMG pages seem to have page quotes, but I really liked this quote, so...*shrug* If it turns out to be against the rules, then sorry for the trouble and I'll gladly remove it.
Though, as it is, I'm a little unsure of the formatting on the quote. I think it looks kinda funny where it is. Is that just me?
I would've put it on the actual WMG main page. Or, barring that, the Literature Sub-page.
