Why question the fact that destroyers are fragile? They're destroyers. They're nicknamed "tin cans" for a reason.

I think the issue, looking at the history log, was just simply the fact that it wasn't mentioned that they have little-no armor. Your edit should fix the issue of it being a ZCE.

"Hoax" implies malice, but... can someone try to read the article linked? Apparently it was an artist's impression of what the cruiser demanded by the circle 6 plans would have been
