I just realised that the two games end in different ways. In the normal version, you have to upload yourself through the use of the Hotswitch ability into the Core, which is what The System wants. On the other hand, in the VR game, you have a different ability which you have to use to destroy the Core... Which might be what the Enemies of The System want. Either way, both games end with you killing your (in-game) real world body and your mind being uploaded into the game itself. Thoughts?

Has anyone read the "EULA" offered to you in the game? It's a bunch of text that flashes for half a second, too fast to read by conventional means, that explains a lot about the "System", how it came to be, and other backstory of the game. I'm just saying because not much about it seems to appear here and could use some work
