A couple of entries mention a demo? There's no demo available, and I've never heard of one being available previously. What's going on here?
Hide / Show RepliesMaybe the one that was available at Nintendo Live?
She/her. Profile pic is by Richard Michael Gomez @StarmansArt. Please watch Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. https://youtu.be/Vm92JNgPbqkI figured they were referring to the Treehouse gameplay.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Regarding my edit that was removed - while I know that Toads aren't genderless and some are clearly either male or female like Toadsworth and Toadette, I believe word from Nintendo is that the default Toad design is gender-neutral, and unless I'm mistaken, playable Toads aren't given a designated gender. I apologize if I'm wrong and I probably could have written the edit better, that's just the information as its reached me.
Hide / Show RepliesHuh, I didn't remember Nintendo stating officially that Toads are gender-neutral. So that would make two males (Mario, Luigi), two females (Peach, Daisy) and two gender-neutrals (Toad, Yoshi). However, I would still recommend not adding the example yet, as we don't know for sure if those will be all the characters or there'll be more (we don't even know if the colored Yoshis and Toads are separate characters or palettes/skins of the same, as the former case would considerably skew everything and the trope is quite strict about the ensemble being exact). There'll be a Nintendo Direct dedicated to the game very soon, so we should wait for that just in case.

I don't blame you for not knowing, Nintendo isn't known for being properly clear about stuff like this; you can look on their character page for the run-down on the whole thing.
Okay there was a bit of misinformation that was added regarding big ninjis appearing in Wonder. Do they even appear in the game? Unfortunately not.
You can actually tell that the Ninjis seen in Raise The Stage◊ aren't the big variants at all because:
1. The ninjis and the platforms they're standing on seen in the screenshot I linked are still small to me, they're just in the foreground. The game has a foreground mechanic that brings elements closer to the screen. It is present in several levels, and some of them even let you warp there. 2. The NIWA Super Mario wiki only treats Super Mario Advance as the big ninji's only appearance. The page for it never provided any evidence that they were ever in Wonder.
I have since removed the misleading claims, but I thought I'd provide some context on why they were removed.
