Should we move Manny Ramirez over to the Historical People page? He still hasn't technically retired yet but he's only sticking around in independent leagues at this point and hasn't played regularly in MLB in almost a decade.

He had been moved to the Historical People page, along with RA Dickey.

Better late than never.

Kirby is awesome.

Actually, Manny Ramirez just signed with the Sydney Blue Sox of the Australian Baseball League.

He is staying in the historical list, since he is a player-coach.

Should some mention be made of the Hatedom surrounding Joe Buck? There are petitions for Fox to fire him. Lots of fans regard him as biased, something Buck has acknowledged (his Twitter Bio says "I like every team except yours"). Some of that is likely fans preferring their local broadcasting team, but still...

I personally don't think he's any more biased than many of the other national announcers. I find that his commentary tends to be shallow and favorable to big name players or big market teams. I dislike him because I think he's terrible at his job. At his absolute best he's so okay he's average.

I'm not particularly a fan of Buck, but I do think he's overhated. He's not an especially interesting commentator, but I've always found his work competent and professional, at least.
