Removed most Doctor regenerations, as I don't qualify them as proper deaths. Especially not the ones where they're standing up and conscious throughout the process. Kept Seven, due to the extenuating circumstances, but here's the rest I removed.

First Doctor

• Cause of Death: Old Age - 4
• Genre: Deathis Cheap - 1
• Body found? Steven and Polly were there as he "died," so yes - 1
• Reaction: He's Dead, Jim - 3
• Final Words: Final Speech - 3
• Characterization: Protagonist - 1
• Died and came back: At this point, not yet (and since "regeneration" wasn't even dreamed up until the show became a runaway hit and William Hartnell's mortality/possible desire to leave suddenly became an issue...) - 4
• Average: 18/7. 2.5. Probably a shock to viewers at first, but as Patrick Troughton came into view, they got used to it quickly...

Second Doctor

• Cause of Death: Essentially execution by forced regeneration (with large hints of Nobody Could Have Survived That) - 1
• Body Found?: Last we saw of Two, he was spinning into his fate, so, no, the body was never found... at least not in the same form -1
• Reaction: None -1
• Final Words: A defiant, but futile Final Speech - 3
• Characterization: Protagonist - 1
• When: Same Arc -1
• Died and came back: once so far - 3
• Average: 12/7. 1.7. He was coming back next season.

Third Doctor

• Cause of Death: Redemption - 3
• Body Found?: Sarah Jane and The Brigadier are there as he dies. - 3
• Reaction: Given The Brig's attempts to tell a grieving Sarah about the Time Lords, Most likely a Faux Death - 1
• Final Words: "A tear, Sarah Jane?" - 3
• Characterization: Protagonist - 1
• When: Same Arc - 1
• Died and Came Back: Twice now - 2
• Average: 16/7. 2.2. And, indeed, cue Tom Baker.

Fourth Doctor

• Cause of Death: Heroic Sacrifice - 3
• Genre: Death Is Cheap -1
• Body Found?: Tegan, Nyssa and Adric were there to witness - 3
• Reaction: "The Watcher? So HE was The Doctor all along..." - 1
• Final Words: "So it is the end, but the moment has been prepared for..." - 3
• Characterization: Protagonist - 1
• When: Same Arc - 1
• Died and Came Back: Three times now. - 1
• Average: 15/7. 2. And look... it's Peter Davison's face in the end title sequence!

Fifth Doctor

• Cause of Death: Heroic Sacrifice - 3
• Body Found?: Mel was unconscious and did NOT witness the event, finding the Doctor missing after she awoke. - 1
• Reaction: Everything happened way too fast (and at the beginning of the episode, to boot) - 1
• Final Words: Maybe a grunt that was drowned out by the exercise bike falling over? - 4
• Characterization: Protagonist - 1
• When: One minute into the episode. This earns a whole new rating, 0.
• Died and came Back: this makes five. - 1
• Average: 10/7. 1.4. And gee, there's Sylvester Mc Coy even before the opening credits sequence.

(As I said earlier, Seven is fine)

We must pass over the Eighth Doctor's death, as it hasn't been officially revealed.

The Eighth Doctor:

• Cause: Not explicit, but we know he genocided his entire species (bar him and The Master it seems) to save the entire rest of creation, no one could survive that, possibly sacrifice 2.5.
• Genre: 1
• Found: Expanded Universe says he died alone: 1.
• Reaction: No one too react ?
• Final words: ?.
• Role: 1
• When: Nine implies he has just regenerated before "Rose" in said episode. Same arc? Same year? Let's say arc. 1
• How Many: 1
• 7.5 with 6: 1.25

Ninth Doctor

• Cause of Death: Heroic Sacrifice - 3
• Genre: Considering the Doctor himself and Captain Jack, Death Is Cheap - 1
• Body found? Left for Dead - 1
• Reaction: Faux Death - 1
• Characterization: Protagonist - 1
• When: Same arc - 1
• Died and came back: YES. Many times. - 1
• Average: 9/7 = 1.29... Why yes, I do believe he woke up a couple of minutes later.

Tenth Doctor

• Cause of Death: Heroic Sacrifice - 3
• Genre: Death Is Cheap - 1
• Body Found?: Not by anyone... - 1
• Reaction: Given that the Doctor (and we viewers) knew what was coming, Faux Death - 1
• Final Words - "I don't want to go." - 3
• Characterization: Protagonist - 1
• When: Same arc - 1
• Died and came back: This is the ninth time. - 1
• Average: 12/7. 1.7. And Matt Smith was disappointed he was not a ginger within three minutes.
