How the hell is there not a Nightmare Fuel page yet?! Dear Lord, there's a lot of tiny little details in there to make you jump. Body Horror zombies? Nah, that's nothing. Try seeing the dummy turn 180 degrees to face Ruby. In the background. Through a window. Ugh...

That'd be High Octane Nightmare Fuel. There is a distinct difference between the two: Nightmare Fuel is unintentional horror, while High Octane is very intentional. All those are of the latter.

Removed the Badass Normal example. Ruby and Tom both have mutations that give them clear advantages

I'm not sure about that, actually. Their own mutations are fairly minor compared to those of their enemies, and they don't use them as much as their own wits and cunning.
Is there a clean version of this anywhere? It sounds like something I'd want to read, but I really don't need to be seeing any 34 this lifetime.
