The entry for Depending on the Writer uses as example the Rakes. I disagree with the fact that's a valid example, as the Rakes can clearly be not all wearers of the same hat and thus being different groups of Rakes they could explain that. Also, depending on the time difference between both quests, the Rakes could just have learned how to fight better.
