Under the "Bullying a Dragon" trope, I'd like to note that Morgan dodged a bullet because this version of Kara has been known to use lethal force when necessary as demonstrated in the case of the White Martians. She also technically killed Rhea because she knew the lead bomb would end up poisoning her. Even if she did so indirectly, Kara was still the proximate cause of Rhea's death because Rhea would not be dead if not for Kara setting off the lead bomb, and in litigation she'd be considered Rhea's killer albeit one with a valid legal defense.

Lastly, even if Kara doesn't use lethal force she isn't beneath crippling or disabling her opponents is they're dangerous enough, as she did with Non. Morgan Edge is basically an extremely lucky villain who had no idea how close he came to getting mutilated or killed.

Under the "Take That!" trope, it should be made clear that Hillary Clinton actually did do the thing she was accused of when Trump supporters were shouting "Lock Her Up". Not for political reasons, but to make it clear that that instance of the shows constant "Take That's" do somewhat fall short of been a legitimate burn.

No offense but it will always be political. Secondly, I think that is more your opinion. I'm not saying it isn't valid but take that is more what the show views as a burn not if they're being fair or unfair.
