Working on cleaning up List of Shows That Need SummaryArchived discussion moved from She Then Saw The Glint...
Anonymous Mc Cartneyfan: This is a trope — specifically, a literature and fanfic trope, though it can turn up in verbal descriptions. It's very common in literature and dialogue for the reasons mentioned — the places that do show the subtler emotions in a person's face are not poetic when described... But it does need a shorter title (and a quick check to make sure it does not exist elsewhere). Windows To The Soul, maybe?
Madrugada It also need to be rewritten to lose the "neener-neener, this is wrong" attitude.
Anonymous Mc Cartneyfan: I have corrected, or maybe overcorrected, the description.
batfan: I agree that this is a trope, but it needs, at the very least, more examples and a better title, and the best (and by that I mean the fastest) way to do that is through YKTTW.
Vifetoile: I quite agree that this needs a cleaner title. The title as-is is not only long and cumbersome but incredibly specific. This trope does not relate to triumph. I like "Windows of the Soul" or perhaps "Failsafe Windows of the Souls."
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it. Hide / Show RepliesInterestingly, Brimstone used the 'eyes being windows to the soul' every episode.
