I like how the Mighty Whitey example in the introduction is basically the situation present in MOST of the examples under that trope (such as Dances with Wolves where Dunbar, at no time, says or acts like he's a better Sioux than the Sioux). The more time I spend on this site, the more I feel like Mighty Whitey is either not a trope or a discredited trope.
