I know this is almost a year old, but for the record, "WASP" stands for "White Anglo-Saxon Protestant". basically, the majority of Caucasians in the United States.

About 40 years ago, straight out of college, I worked a 4 1/2 month temporary assignment as a maintenance worker for the Los Angeles Unified School District. I was literally the only non-African-American in the department, and I referred to myself, in so many words, as the "token honkie."
I have no idea what a WAS P is, or why there's a redlink to it on this page, but I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be there. Could I get a confirmation here? I'm not experienced enough with editing to delete anything with confidence.
