This trope name seems rather misleading. It kind of suggests THE kiss that makes it perfectly clear that two people officially have something romantic between them. Kiss of Awesome might be a better name.

The second issue is that the trope BigDamnHeroes represents when a heroic moment comes just when things seem most dire. So using "Big Damn" in the name would represent a kiss that was almost too late, not one of great proportions.
