Yeah, fan nicknames are misused.

The Cheshire Cat has all the answers—but doesn't always tell. And this is also why a direct sequel to Super Mario 64 never came out, it would give the impression that there were 641 previous games in the Mario franchise. And FIFA 64 makes you think that the game has George Best in the roster.
Edited by silenigShouldn't the title now be Super Title 64 Advance DS?
Hide / Show RepliesNo, because it should be Super Wii Mega Title 64 Advance DS Portable HD 3D DX.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. It could be Super Title 64 Advance DS EX plus Alpha Remix Strike 2, but then it would be marathon salad
This troper was all ready to add to the DS Section: "I can't believe Pokemon: Diamond and Sapphire haven't been posted yet." He facepalmed about thirty seconds after hitting the preview button.

The page says:
> Fans also like to add platform-identifying labels to differentiate games that have Recycled Titles and/or the same name as their series. Castlevania 64, Superman 64 and God of War (PS4) are Fan Nicknames instead of true examples of this trope.
Yet, fan nicknames are listed in the examples. Should they stay there? (If yes, not even all of them are listed: God of War (PS4) is missing, for instance. Also, the irony that both Spider-Man and God of War have been ported to PC.)
