Would it still count as an example if say, the character was thoroughly contemplating suicide in the prologue, but ends up not doing so?
Any instances of the opposite, the story ending with a suicide? Say, a character pulls out a gun, aims for his head, closes his eyes, and the screen fades to black the moment he pulls the trigger. Roll credits.
