I would think of this with sumo wrestling when heavy wrestlers get thrown out of the ring onto the front crowd.

Removed:

  • Hamlet: During the duel between Hamlet & Laertes, when Hamlet discovers that Claudius has poisoned Laertes' sword Hamlet stabs him with it (Hamlet & Laertes having switched swords during the duel).

This doesn't fit the trope. It's not about a spectator being injured inadvertantly, or as a tactic by one competitor against the other, during the course of a contest. The contest is already over when Hamlet deliberately goes after Claudius.
