Another example from Hercules: the Legendary Journeys is from the Season 5 episode, "For Those of You Just Joining Us." After Kevin Sorbo shows up and starts telling stories, the rest of the cast is seen crying their eyes out, including Kevin Smith (playing the show's writer Jerry Patrick Brown), who dismisses his tears as just something in his eye.
