Do examples of people who have an Only Friend really count? It's known that some loners do have a small (and very close) circle of people they can confide in, sometimes even just one person. I mean really, it just seems like some examples are "See! That Troubled, but Cute guy has onebest friendfromchildhood! Pffft. Loner my ass," I dunno, if you knew about a guy who had, at best, one person that they talk to frequently and openly, but to everyone else they're very aloof, you'd call them a social freaking butterfly, right?
