How could we forget about fruit? Fruit tastes good, right? Especially if it's strawberries.

A possibility for why this is true in practice: If it tastes good and is good for you, you'd eat it.

I actually used to believe the opposite of this trope when I was a kid. If it tasted nasty, that was God's way of saying you shouldn't be putting it in your mouth. I put a lot of thought into it, and precisely none of it got those nasty-ass canned green beans my parents seemed to swear by swapped out for french fries.
