I find it ridiculous that Canada is listed in the description of this trope as having basically the same education system as the US. That is patently false. Canada's education system is more similar to other common wealth countries. As a person who grew up in and was educated in Canada, I can tell you firsthand that the portrayal of high school in American media was super jarring for me, because of how different it seemed from what the average Canadian experience, education-wise, is.

This article is in need of a rename and cleanup. The body of the article makes it quite clear that is about an AMERICAN high school, but the examples include many NON-american examples.
