One of alternate titles for the page is "Trangst". Only transsexual example I spotted was Khaos komix one, and mentioned on one breath with multiple homosexual characters. Article also says nothing about it... I feel confused. Should it be changed? Or rewritten?

Being trans is not the same as being gay... It could be a related article but it shouldn't be an alternate title, I think, especially with that. Looks too close to the T slur.

Is there a tropes for gays who remain celibate because of their religious beliefs and not because of outside pressure?

So... is a character who struggles with Gayngst a Gay Woobie?

No. A gay person can be a Woobie for other reasons than sexual preference.

A character suffering Gayngst usually is a Woobie, they just might also be one for any other reason.

I'm a bit irked by the picture used for this article, especially with that caption. Sure, it looks ridiculously melodramatic by itself, but makes perfect sense in context and is actually part of a nicely executed emotional scene in that series. It's also not clear the girl is gay from looking at it. In short, uhm... can't we think of something else?
