Yeah, just 'cause the trope is a source of Moral Dissonance doesn't make it not a trope.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I agree about not cutting the trope but would anyone care if I purged it of its real life section?
Support stupid freshness, yo.I don't really mind either way. Though they don't seem to attract all that much natter (Far less than I would suspect) and are fairly informative. They could stand to be shortened and read less like essays though.
I agree against the cut. Maybe get rid of the page quote and edit the Real Life section a bit, but other than that, this trope is perfectly valid.
Yeah, change the quote and remove the Real Life section. Hopefully it'll save the page.
Kersey475: Does interrogating someone by dangling them from a steep height count as this or Jack Bauer Interrogation Technique?
"Think like a man of action, act like a man of thinking, and don't be a dumbass." Hide / Show RepliesThe latter specifically mentions physical injury in its trope description, so I'd go for this one.
What's precedent ever done for us?
RE: Cut
