Does this trope also encompass cases of a deity literally giving birth to the world, rather than literally laying a egg from which the world hatches? Or in other words: Does the "egg" in Cosmic Egg also include mammalian-style eggs/ova, not just bird/reptile/fish-style eggs?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I'm not sure what the solution would be, but I guess there is already a troper with the name Cosmic Egg, and as such, the quote page (Cosmic Egg)that's appeared has nothing to do with the trope Cosmic Egg.
Is it possible to have a Tropers/Quotes/CosmicEgg page for the troper separate from the Quotes/CosmicEgg page for the trope?
Edited by JonnyD Hide / Show RepliesI'd noticed that, too. I'm uncertain how to fix it, because I don't think we can have double-namespaces. You could ask a mod, maybe?

The caption on the image asks who laid the egg. I don't know, but I think we can safely assume it was not a chicken.
Rhymes with "Protracted."
