Now that I've read some more Clamp, I can say these definitely don't belong. The examples are either Yaoi Guys or Ho Yay in series that are not easily mistaken for BL.
- Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle has Kurogane and Fai D. Fluorite.
- Fuuma and Kamui from X1999 brim with Ho Yay, and being a sequel to Tokyo Babylon, Seishirou and Subaru make appearances as well.
- xxxHolic features Watanuki and Doumeki. Like the above example, the romantic undertones are subtext and not officially confirmed.
Legal Drug is a legit example. Can anyone speak for Card Captor Sakura or Tokyo Babylon?
To me, Card Captor Sakura is Shoujo with Yaoi Guys in it (Yukito and Touya are spelled out explicitly as "most important one" for each other). Tokyo Babylon can be considered BL (the whole series is Will They or Won't They? between the two leads, and they talk about romantic love, not just friendship) except that its genre designation is apparently Shoujo.
Thanks, I've edited the CCS example out then.
- Card Captor Sakura has Touya and Yuki.
I've never really understood the idea that apparently only women can enjoy yaoi, and that men all prefer bara.
Just seems kind of weird to me.

personally, I think yaoi is much better. Bara always seems to be PWP.
Okay, bear with me as I am not intimately familiar with all of these examples and may have made an error in judgment. I have put the examples here so that they are easily copy-pastable if deemed relevent. If I am wrong, kindly put it back, alphabetically, where it belongs.
That said, "Works commonly mistaken for Boys Love" is not "Works with Ho Yay and a large slash fanbase". Nor are they "Works with Yaoi Guys that are not Boys Love." Those go on the Yaoi Guys page, not here. This is for the occasions when it is truly a surprise that the work isn't intended as Boys Love.
Special Note: Could someone pare down the Clamp section which seems to be a list of works with either Yaoi Guys or Ho Yay, lists which are already on those pages if I recall properly. Code Geass is coming off for sure, but the works excepting Legal Drug and xxxHolic I don't know well enough to say to what extent the relationship highlighted affects interpretation of the story.
If there are any on the original list that shouldn't be there that I missed, please post them here for future reference.
