Part of me is tempted to guess where the "Act of Aggression" or "Act of War", factions fit and make a section for those games.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWhere can I find any information about "red Alert 2: New World Order?"
The trope should be renamed considering it mostly focuses on the factions, and the name could refer to the player instead.
Not all dreams are meant to come true, otherwise there would be a lot of dead people. Hide / Show RepliesAgreed. Faction Calculus already exists for this kind of thing, though. The content in question might as well be moved to that trope instead.
I noticed, that Advance Wars has Olaf as "Gimmick" and Javier is "Turtle", please, edit A Commander Is You page and explain, what is "Turtle" and "Gimmick" faction.
The Ranger faction might need a bit of a rename as the trope Ranger has more in common with the eletist than long-range fighter.
Hide / Show RepliesAlso, I would like to see a separate category for factions that specialize in long range attacks and those that specialize in hit and run tactics as they arent always the same.
For instance, in Dawn of War: Soulstorm both the Tau and Dark Eldar are ranger factions by the current definitions, though not all that similar. The Tau rely mostly on long range firepower while the Dark Eldar rely on hit and run tactics.
Protoss: In SC 2, they are a technical faction. They rely on the sentry's abilities, and later on templar/colossus to make up for their base-line unit's high cost and (relatively) low damage.

a "quest" for the "fanfic examples" this is an "elitist/balanced faction" with a "turtle doctrine" with the name of "the village hidden in the stars" of bear country and we have votes for "diferent faction choices" we could have made.
like "elitist/ with specialist doctrine of taki(waterfall)
