I was editing this page and I was told to move stuff to YMMV. I couldn't make the page so here's what I cut:

  • Tear Jerker: Wilhelm von Schwerin's death
  • Values Dissonance: "Soldier Boy". In the 19th century the poem was a representation of patriotic fervour; today it is seen as a sad tale of gung-ho militarism and Child Soldiers.
