A troper moved it
to the YMMV tab, because Designated Villain is a YMMV item.
But honestly, the bears aren't even meant to be villains. Looks like misuse to me.
Let's just say and leave it at that.

My plan for this is to have Goldilocks be an escaped orphan, after getting away from an Orphanage of Fear, and she actually makes things right between her and the bears. Who then decide they like her, and keep her as a Human Pet.
