Small error in the chronology in the game I've noticed. If the new kid is nine or ten in the game, like all of the main cast of the series, the origin story has a major flaw.
We can assume the game takes place either shortly before or during the present of its release, 2017. PC Principal exists and has his title of principal, the Candian border is closed off, etc, etc.
In the origin story for the new kid's actual powers, the mother states that her powers were discovered to only work on Instagram. A website that came to exist in 2010.
The timeline from her perspective cannot start earlier than that year when it comes to her powers.
And yet, if the kid is ten, they were born in 2007 or so, and if nine, 2008, at least two years prior to Instagram's existence.
Which is impossible. The mother would not have had the kid if it hadn't been for the discovery of her powers through that website.
Of course, this may be a "healing spit" effect. The kid may have inherrited Time Traveling Farts as a sort of mutation of their mother's apparent ability to websurf through time.
