On "Chinese in Name Only" due to the setting being Islamic, the whole idea isn't completely implausible right? Since Islam does have a history in China, with several mosques dotting the country..?

Sorry if I shouldn't ask this here, but it's always been bugging me...why did the cave want Aladdin to enter it? Is it because of him not being greedy or evil like Jaffar and the person that was first sent into it by Jaffar?
