Posting here because I just want to be candid about a deliberately inconsistent formatting decision I have made that relates to this page and Playhouse 90.

This forum post explains my reasons for launching Heart of Darkness (1958) in the Film rather than the Recap namespace (in short: there will probably never be any other recaps to keep it company). As I wrote there, taxonomizing a movie-length anthology episode

is a dilemma because episodes like this seem to exist in a liminal space between ordinary TV episodes and Made for TV Movies: they are completely standalone stories of movie length, but they also have series apparatus like a consistent Title Sequence and an advertisement for the next week's episode. [And, I might add, a continuous production team.]

Anyway, I have made the choice to treat episodes discussed on the Playhouse 90 page as episodes, with their titles in quotes, while treating Heart of Darkness (1958) — now the one episode that has its own page (as opposed to being covered briefly on the page of a later adaptation, like Requiem for a Heavyweight) — as a film, with its title in italics, when it it mentioned elsewhere on the wiki.

My reasoning for this is that, for any given episode of the series, both this is an episode and this is a movie are true statements. Episodes without their own pages seem easier to regard as episodes (especially since so far they are mostly discussed on the Playhouse 90 page itself), but since I have put Heart of Darkness (1958) on its own page where it is treated mostly on its own terms rather than in context of the series, it seems easier to regard it as a movie.
