OK, seriously, guys, this page needs a cleanup. In case you're unfamiliar with TV Tropes policy, pages that bash their subject to the point where actual, useful information is drowned out are not exactly welcome around here. Now, I'd prefer that this page does not get locked or deleted by the mods, so let's start turning this into an informative wiki article rather than a gigantic rant, hrm?
Unfortunately, I lack the knowledge of the fic to add much myself, but if others can help, it would be most appreciated.
What's precedent ever done for us? Hide / Show RepliesI agree that the page needs a cleanup. However, as someone who 'has' read the fic, I can assure you that an honest evaluation will still come across as bashing. The plot holes are numerous, the protagonists are held to completely different standards compared to everyone else, there are too many What The Hell Hero moments to count, and every character who isn't evil or bashed becomes a Mary Sue. That sparkles, and has magic more magical than magic.
So yeah. I agree, but you might want to read the fic a bit yourself before judging the article to be nothing but bashing. Even if I were inclined to be extra nice, I'd still say the article is about two-thirds correct, though it is rather blunt about it.
Oh, I realise this is hardly the greatest fic on the Internet. Even so, the purpose of this page is to list the tropes present in this work, not provide a review. That's why, y'know, we have a 'Reviews' button at the top of the page. When the bashing gets in the way of that - for instance, when the tropes are shoehormed in as an excuse for further bitching (as with the It Got Worse and Ron the Death Eater entries I deleted), when the majority of tropes are subjective complaints rather than measurable things that happen in the story, or when the description of how a trope applies is taken up instead with further complaining (the So Bad Its Horrible entry griping about the quality of the story rather than detailing its overall reception)... that's when we have a problem.
See the rewritten Sonichu page for an example of a mod-approved description of an utterly terrible work.

is it just me or does this STILL feel more like a bash then an honest list of tropes?
