Counted up the ones I could remember and it fits. New version:
- Loads and Loads of Races: In no particular order, we've got humans, Varellavites and three vassal races (Vhusaed, Katagans, and Obralans), Balcrusians, Ganba, Sathuans (extinct), Axe-tails, Klavarese, Anz'kalarads, Orions, Norkards, Darkstarians, Kavish, Lorstahn, Paz/kanrans (two races that evolved on the same minor planet), five Corunian species, Kyrzakagalans and the list goes on.
This trope has been re-defined. In particular it can't be an Informed Attribute anymore. I don't know whether this example is valid for the new definition. It may need rewording to show how it fits the new definition. If it's valid, please restore it here and on the trope page.
- Loads and Loads of Races: In the larger setting, biologists have identified somewhere in the range of 850,000 sapient species, only a fraction of which appear in the game.
