Shouldn't this be moved to Yoko Tsuno? Is there a reason why it's a main page?

Are there and Yoko Tsuno fans out there. Is it just me or does Yoko seem to get knocked unconscious an awful lot. From album two, when Yoko is knocked out by Karl who then stuffs her in a cage, it seem a case of continuous case of knock-outs for Yoko. The favorite is without doubt the neck-chop, used at least four times to make Yoko faint (all by other girls), while some of the villains don masks to knock our heroine out (L'or du Rhin, La Frontière de la vie), again both these turn out to be girls.

Well, as someone who writes novels, I found that having your main characters fall unconscious or asleep is a very easy (and cheap) way for transitions, since they can simply wake up to a new situation. Of course, it can be easily overused, like Leloup seems to do. But honestly: after being knocked out so many times, Yoko would be in severe danger of permanent brain damage.

I agree that knocking Yoko unconscious or drugging her seemed to be any easy way of progressing the novels, I guess the way Leloup found the way around giving Yoko any permanent damage was for Yoko to be neck-chopped seemingly endless times, drugged or subject to some sort of electrical charge which was strong enough to render Yoko unconscious without doing her any pernanent damage. There was also an album, based in Scotland I think, where Yoko had knock-out drops put in her 'herbal' tea, fainted after being overcome at the top of a tower and was finally chloroformed. Are there any novels where she is actually hit on the head? Finally, in the edge of life where Yoko is knocked unconscious twice, she is depicted arriving in Rothenburg wearing what can only be described as an ultra micro-mini dress,I think someones imagination went overboard. For Yoko, the all action girl to be wearing such a short dress did'nt seem appropriate, it would have been impossible for Yoko not to have revealed her knickers in such a short dress
