Suggestion for major revision based on canon and not fanon or at least acknowledging which is which. My edit on Derek, not Scott, being the one to outwit Jennifer Blake and cause Deucalion's reform is one such correction, but this page seems to have a lot of them. Especially in regards to exaggerating Scott's goodness and understating or leaving out his flaws (see http://www.teenwolfwiki.com/Scott_McCall for a better balance).

Possibly next up for revision: "had a strong influence on both Derek and Isaac becoming much nicer, gentler and kinder in personality" and similar statements.

Derek's change in character was a result of being beaten down and being forced to accept that being an alpha only made him a bigger target instead of helping him to protect people as well as finding and saving Cora. Scott's (positive) influence here was relatively minor (although he did have negative influence re: betraying and dehumanizing Derek in the season 2 finale; Derek does his best to avoid Scott after this until Scott forces the issue at the start of season 3A).

Isaac didn't really change much in terms of becoming gentler and kinder, mostly he was just seeking affection from Scott when around him.

Yeah, no idea if the people who started the character entries are even still interested in this. I started doing work on this a little before Season 5, after the TW pages had been closed down for, more or less, vandalism. We try and avoid getting closed down again, so we usually go for keeping it mostly positive and neutral - no overly biased entries for any of the characters.

If you think some of Scott's or Derek's stuff is too one-sided, feel free to revise it, but if you feel very strongly about Scott - or anyone else - being the worst of the worst, try if it fits into YMMV. I know the greater TW fandom has some *strong* opinions on all of this, but these pages here are more like a general description.

I do my best to keep my own biases in check, but I may just leave most of it alone anyway as being beyond all hope. I've corrected a few small things so far, but I'm really not sure how to incorporate some of the changes I'd like to see (aka Scott not being perfect/werewolf Jesus).

Do you know about the sandbox? You could always put stuff in there, ask people what they think about it. I'm going to be honest, it's been mostly a couple of people doing work on the TW pages over the last year or so, so I don't know if you'll get lots of feedback. But it's worth a try.

Nope, and being new to this is my primary problem I suppose. I have knowledge of canon, but I'm not sure how to integrate that with what's already here and how it changes the listed tropes.

My best suggestion then would be to try and read tropes or maybe entries for shows you are familiar with, to get a general feeling for what you can use, and how. There are also pages on how to build up a page, and how to write the entries, etc. It can already give you a good idea.

Is Allison Scott's The Lost Lenore? I would say no, because while he is devastated by her loss, he also seems able to move on. If at all, Allison is probably The Lost Lenore for Lydia, although I have a problem with her being The Lost Lenore in general, since she didn't die before the story or early in the story, which is part of the definition.

How does everyone else feel about this?
